Il Vicoletto
Identity, Business Card and Stationery Design
Il Vicoletto is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Sydney's stylish Darlinghurst dining strip. Raymond Roca Creativity was commissioned to transform the existing brand of the company, which focussed on traditional Italian cuisine, into a modern, trendy, cutting-edge eatery, highly competitive with the other dining venues in the area.
This included the creation of a new logo, centred on an irregular heptagon representative of direction and motion and alluding variously to a star, an open menu or an Italian festive hat. The logo's subtitle of "Ristorante Italiano" sought to maintain the restaurant's link with authenticity of cuisine.
Raymond Roca Creativity also designed the new double-sided business cards for the rebranded Il Vicoletto, which included the logo on black on the back of the card. Other designs created as part of Il Vicoletto's new identity included letterheads and a small information brochure (view designs).
Raymond Roca Creativity also designed a website for Il Vicoletto which includes an online booking system in order to fit in with the company's new modern brand.
